в читальній залі бібліотеки відбулося засідання Київського культурно-освітнього
товариства ім. Адама Міцкевича. На зустрічі розмова йшла про трагічні сторінки
в історії поляків за часів тоталітаризму. На прикладі своєї сім’ї Андрій
Іванович Амонс розповідав про депортацію польського населення із Західної
України до півночі СССР в передвоєнні часи, про життя в засланні, та труднощі реабілітації після війни. Засідання зібрало багатолюдну аудиторію, зокрема
завітав поет, письменник, журналіст Станіслав Шевченко, який подарував
бібліотеці свої книги.
